Letters From Home
We do love words back from friends and family!
Thank goodness full service has resumed. I was frightfully concerned that spending too long in the tropical sun had relieved you of your senses entirely. Heavens!
I'm delighted you have indulged in cricket and golf within your first weeks; none of this dreadful diving and surfing nonsense; one must remember to keep the colonies British. I should seek professional advice for appropriate garments, my dear- one must be "in-the-know".
I can on this occasion overlook the obvious 'posh coffee' in the grand hotel due to hot flashes (not flushes dear, terribly common) as one should always, always take time for tea.
I'd be delighted if you could now engage with the women's institute so we can ascertain the level of advancement within the knitting fraternity.
Holding you firmly within our upholstered bosoms and wishing you god speed
Your dear pals, Family H xxx
